Story 1
When I was young, I lived in a deserted kampong deep in the jungle. Every night, my mother could ask me not to go home too late as there won’t be any transportation after a certain time.

One night, before going home, I ta pao a kueh teow soup for supper. I was late and I waited for the taxi/bus but there was none. I was getting worried as the night was getting darker and darker. So I tried to flag down private vehicles to take me home.

There was no one stopping for me, till one motorcyclist took compensation on me and stopped to give me a lift. He was a man with a kind face. I accepted his offer and got onto his motorbike.

On the way home, we would pass by a temple. At night, the temple would look eerily spooky with the dim lights from the candles.

At first, the motorcyclist was warm and friendly. When the temple was approaching, the motorcyclist eyes grown bigger and bigger. His kind face turned to a face of anger. He was muttering something loud but was not audible to me. I was so scared that I closed my eyes in order not to see his angry face.

Then, the motorcylist stopped in front of the temple and then yelled at me.

“Your kueh teow soup is so hot!! It is burning my thigh! Can you please move it away???”

Story 2
When I was young, I have two friends who were very close to each other. They played with each other everyday. It was like, if you see A, you would see B next to him. They were always together.

A loved fried eggs. Whenever he went out for lunch or dinner, without fail, he would ask for fried egg on top of his noodles, fried rice, etc.

One day, A involved in an accident and died. B was devastated. B went to the cemetery to pray everyday. He would go to the nearest restaurant and ta pao a box of fried rice with an egg on top to be offered to A when he went to pray to him.

The next day, he opened the box and there was no egg inside! B was petrified. He thought, must be A who came and took the fried egg away.

The same thing happened the next day and the day after that. B was confused. So, one day, he asked the chef to make the same fried rice with a fried egg again. Then, he went to the cemetery to offer it to A. Curious, he opened the box to check for the egg. He was angry to find that, there was no fried egg in the box after all.

Feeling that he had been cheated, he went back to the restaurant and demanded to see the Chef. “Where is the fried egg?? I told you there must be a fried egg inside!! You have cheated me for a few days now! Gimme back my money!!” Then, the Chef got really angry and opened the box - the fried egg was inside the box.

The Chef said, “Stupid! You open the box upside down. No wonder you cannot see the egg!!”

Story 3
When I was young, I went to town to work with a group of friends during our summer holidays of two months. Being young and away from home for the first time, we drank and smoke like nobody’s business.

One night, we were pissed drunk and flagged the last bus down to go home.

Being tired, we slept in the bus. It had been awhile that I fell asleep. I was awake by the
chilly wind. I was shocked to find that there was no one in the bus, and I was the last passenger. I looked in front to check out for the driver. But the driver was no where in sight. Yet, the bus was moving.

I panicked @!^@less. I rubbed my eyes to make sure that I was not dreaming. The night was dark and cold.

I hysterically jumped out from the bus and tried to run as hard as I could to get away.

Then I heard someone yelled at me from behind the bus.

“Hey! Don’t run away! Come over here and help to push the bus!” yelled the bus driver.

I saw my other friends helping to push the bus, which broke down while I was asleep.]]>

Story 4
My friend lives in Hougang Ave 8 (Singapore). One evening he went to town for a movie with his friends. He was having a lot fun before he realized it was getting very late. He quickly made his way home. It was unusually dark and creepy that nite. As he was walking, he was astonished to find an old, creepy-looking street peddler selling some books along the road. It gave him the shivers when he noticed this pale old guy staring at him.

> >The old guy said, "Son, why don't you get a book ... it will keep you company". My friend acted brave and thought why not. He had a look at the old man's collection ... his hair began to rise up on end when he noticed all the books were related to the supernatural. Nonetheless, he found one that was very interesting so he asked the old man, "How much is this, Uncle?" The old guy replied, "Well son ... that's an interesting book ..it's $25." My friend was shocked and said "But ...but ...that's so expensive.." The old man said nothing but glared at my
friend which freaked him out. He quickly rummaged through his pockets & found $20.

"N-nothing just asking", said my friend & ran straight to his room.
Nervously, he opened the book & began reading, all the time remembering the warning the old man had given him. But after a while, he grew tired & fell asleep. At midnite, as he was sound asleep in bed, a cold gush of wind blew in through his bedroom window which startled him and sent chills down his spine. He looked at his table & noticed the wind had blown the pages of the book to its last page!!!!! For awhile, he laid in bed - frozen in fear, but soon curiosity got the better of him.

Story 5
This is a true story of a young college girl who passed away last month.
Her name is Priya. She was hit by a lorry.

She had a boyfriend named Shankar. Both of them were true lovers.
They were always on the phone. U can never see her without her handphone.
She spends 3/4 of the day talking with Shankar.
Priya's family knows about their relationship.
Shankar is very close with Priya's family.
Before she passed away, she always told her frens "If I pass away,
please burn me with my handphone".
She also said the same thing to her parents.

After her death, people cldnt lift her coffin. I was there.
Many of them tried to do so but still cant, everybody including me,
had tried to carry the coffin, the result is still the same.
Eventually, they called their neighbour, a "bomoh" from Thailand (Pak Darin),
who is a fren of her father.
He took a sit and started speaking to himself slowly.
After a few minutes, he said "This girl misses something here".
Then her frens told Darin about her intentions to burn her with her phone.
He then opened the coffin and place her phone and SIM card inside the casket.
After that they tried to carry the coffin.
It could be moved and they carried it into the van easily.
All of us were shocked.

Priya's parents didnt inform Shankar that Priya had passed away (pity
Shankar). After 2 weeks Shankar called Priya's mom.

Shankar: "Atte (aunty), I'm coming home today. Cook something nice for me.
Dont tell Priya that I'm coming home today. I wanna suprise her."

Her mother replied: "U come home first, I wanna tell u something very
important."

After he came to Shah Alam, they told him the truth about Priya.
Shankar thinks that they were playing a fool.

He was laughing and said "Dont try to fool me. Tell Priya to come out.
I have a gift for her. Pls stop this nonsense".

Then they show him the original death certificate. They gave him proof to
make him believe. Shankar started to sweat.

He said: "It's not true. We were spoke yesterday. She still calls me."

Shankar was shaking. Suddenly, Shankar's phone rang.

"See, this is from Priya! See this..." He showed the phone to Priya's
family.

All of them told him to answer. He talked using the loudspeaker mode.
All of them heard his conversation. Loud and clear.
No crossed lines, no humming.
It is the actual voice of Priya & there is no way others could use her
simcard since it was nailed inside the coffin!

They were shocked and asked for Pak Darin's help again.
Pak Darin brought his master (Tok Chen) to solve this matter.
He & Darin worked for 5 hours.
Then they discovered one thing...

The test

Three men who were lost in the forest were captured by cannibals. The cannibal king told the prisoners that they could live if they pass a trial. The first step of the trial was to go to the forest and get ten pieces of the same kind of fruit. So all three men went separate ways to gather fruits.

The first one came back and said to the king, "I brought ten apples." The king then explained the trial to him. "You have to shove the fruits up your butt without any expression on your face or you'll be eaten."

The first apple went in... but on the second one he winced out in pain, so he was killed.

The second one arrived and showed the king ten berries. When the king explained the trial to him he thought to himself that this should be easy. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8... and on the ninth berry he burst out in laughter and was killed.

The first guy and the second guy met in heaven. The first one asked, "Why did you laugh, you almost got away with it?" The second one replied, "I couldn't help it, I saw the third guy coming with pineapples."

Hazel is feeling frustrated. me too. I duno her prob, i shall not probe further. haha. mine, was bcuz of the work. shall not elaborate if not kena sacked. haha. jkjk. ytd afternoon, slping till half, suddenly Hazel called. she claimed tat she called to ask abt 'Be strong, Guem Soon OST'. haha. i duno why i feel alert and happy when i hear her voice. haha, [dun get the wrong idea! her voice so lively, so...] we chatted abt relationships and all. she hanged on me several times but i called back. she say i si chan lan da?! haha. den she 'scolded' me for posting sth on my blog, so i took all those down. haha, if not she jue jiao wit me. haha. den we end up bickering. bcuz of... she said i liked somebody before. u shud noe tat person. but i dun lyk him.. she said my actions sometimes betrayed me. haha. maybe i did, but i seriously didnt lyk him before. ok, i admit, there was a period i THINK, i lyk him. but after some time, i was able to tell myself i did not. haha. Hazel say she hope i whud be wit him. Woosh. I am back from Ubin and TANNED! haha. The camp was fun. haha. I sat a bumboat to Ubin cuz there wasnt enuff ferries. haha, the ride was jerky but cool. We had icebreakers after we arrived, before being seperated into 16 different groups. First day was boring cuz i dint had any frens i knew in my grp, SABRETOOTH!!! haha, we had High Ropes and Rafting on the first day. I dint quite participated cuz i was down. haha. During rafting, Eileen talked to me, she pulled me into the water!! haha, I was shocked and surprised. haha, den we became frens. haha. I dint slept AT ALL for the first night, i couldnt sleep, so i spent the whole night watching stars. LOL, initially, i wanted to ask Hazel to watch too, but she was sleeping soundly so i dint wake her up. haha, Stars in the skies of Ubin were magnificent. haha, I watched the sunrise and sunset too! haha.
Second day, i was more lively, i spent my breakfast, lunch time with Hazel, Shu Wen, Xin Yi and Beryl, Sze Li couldnt come over cuz she had a fierce instructor. Wahaha. We had Abs, Rock Wall, Archery and Low Ropes on the second day. I had lots of fun. haha. We went to the conference room for camp preparations, AIRCON!!! haha. At nite, it was campfire, it was the best campfire i ever had, different grps took turns to perform. haha. I had to disguise as a guy. Actually, it was jeannie's job, but my instructor wanted me. haha, they spiked my hair, lyk David Beckham's. wahaha. When i went out, all my frens were lyk, "Hui Cheng, so cool!! so handsome!!". So paiseh. haha. When it was our grp's turn to perform, i went out, all my frens were screaming lyk mad. haha. THANKS! haha. I dint noe i was so popular. haha. I lent Damien my BRA. haha, now, i dun dare to wear tat bra le. haha. After the campfire, all sec 3s were not allowed to return to their tents, so they danced and sang. haha. I washed up, cuz my hair was darn itchy. haha. Tat nite, i slept in Hazel's tent. I duno if i was tat tired or wad, i immediatedly slept! haha. Actually, i wanted to watch the stars, but i slept. haha. haha. She said i snored, did i? Maybe i was too tired or i has some sleeping disorders. Oni ppl with sleeping disorders or were to tired whud snore. hahaha.
Third day, last day of camp. haha. We werw lucky, cuz we get to 'clean up' the conference room! haha, i duno wad's there for us to clean. haha, instead, we went there to enjoy the AIRCON! haha. Duno which grp cleaned the toilets, haha. Den, our instructor, Amy, told us this was her last camp and we were the best bunch she ever had(actually, she told us on second nite, during debrief). All of us went emo, crying. even me. haha. On the way to the white tent, both our instructors, Farah and Amy even sang some touching song, YJ and me were behind them, and we cried. haha. LOL. When we reached Marina country club, i was sad, i dun wanna return. haha, i miss my instructors and my buddies. haha, we really had fun during the 2 days. haha. Amy, if u happen to be reading this, Aja Aja Fighting!! Sabretooth will always rmb u! haha. haha.

oh ya. We, Shu Wen, Hui Ling, Pearl, Yi Jing, Sheereen, Beryl and ME won the Captains Ball Inter-class Competition as Champs! haha, Sooooo Happy. Initially, we were losing to 3a1, but last few seconds scored 2 goals to overwrite 3a1's 13 goals. haha, In the end, we won 13-15. haha. The umpires were not fair, I mus say. But, we still managed to win! haha, This is the first time i saw my classmates(gals) so united, when we played, they were there cheering for us! haha, Thanks! haha. Hope to continue lyk tis. haha.

gtg, pack my bag for tml's trip to KOREA! haha. jkjk. Seriously, i really want to re-visit Korea again. Ytd nite, conference with Hazel, SW, XY and JX. XY slept while tokin! haha. In the end, Hazel, JX and me tok till 1.30am. We really end the call at 1.30 sharp. haha. Sometimes, I really dislike BIG MOUTHS. I was once a BIG MOUTH too. I tried to change. did i? I guess, a little. haha. I will change still. I might not be perfect, but i really tried my best. Haha. Todae is a happy day for me, Hazel and Shu Wen. haha. We went jogging at Yishun Stadium. We even cycled! haha.. Long time since i exercised. haha, Felt relax and healthy. haha. I didnt noe Hazel has such a good stamina! She can run round the field for 3 rounds without stopping! haha. Surprised? haha. We met many HANDSOME and SUAVE Korean footballers. All tall and tanned. haha, Lyk my Shin Goon.. jkjk.. LOL..

Hooray! I got back all papers except GEOGRAPHY... I failed my add-math[expected], social studies. And, i passed my MT, Eng[actually fail, but after moderation, pass!], e-math, physics, chemistry, and and and, BIOLOGY! i expected to fail all 3 sciences. haha. haha. Thank God! haha. I doubt i will pass my geog. tat one fail for sure. haha.

haha, the 2a1 gathering was superb! haha. I went there early in the morning at 10+ with Pearl, Pawita and Eve. But, Beryl was even earlier! She called me at 9++ for Hazel's hse no. haha, Shocked?! lol. haha. Slowly, others began to arrive. haha, Hazel's hse getting packed. haha. Surprisingly, Julien, Yi Hao, Joel, Khen Yong were the few early guys. haha, i tot the guys will be the latest to arrive. haha. At 12++, after the rain stopped, we made our way down. haha. There were a few slackers who jus sat down and wait for the food to be brought to their front. LOL. I got changed and went down the water, 'illegally' haha, we wanted to pull Hazel into the water, but she cant, cuz she's a resident there, she dun wanna risk getting caught. haha. COOL! haha. We started bbqing our own marinated chicken wings and lemonfish. Tastes ok. haha. At night, when others left, leaving Hazel, Shu Wen, Sze Li, Josh, Julien, Khen Yong and me, we played TRUE OR DARE. We found out some 'secrets'. haha. Shocking, Surprising secrets. haha. I wanna thank Hazel, cuz without her, this 2a1 gathering wouldnt be a success. She booked the pit, bought the ingredients(with us), arranged the times, informed everyone, collected the money, etc. Tat is quite a handful of work! haha. THANKS HAZEL and gang! Kamsahamnida!

Haha, Jus to post a video i yk veri much. haha. This video is abt a Japan Serial, 'Engine'. The best Japan show i've watched. First and only. This serial depicts 'real-life' stories abt love, friendships, family matters, etc etc. The last episode is the best and the most touching. haha, funny too. Esp the hug and the kiss part. Haha! Ytd was Mother's Day. I spent my mother's day at WWW (Wild Wild Wet). Shiok ar! I went with Hazel, Sze Li and Wei Qi. Wei Qi has got 4 free tickets.. haha, so, i tagged along. haha. It has been a long time since i last stepped into WWW. haha. I rmb the last time i went was pri 6, after PSLE, i went there with my couz and fam, to 'wind down'. haha. I tried the 'slide up' aka the U shaped thing once last time. ytd, i played a total of 4 times! 2 times postion down, 2 times position up. It feels lyk jumping from 10 storeys down. haha, VERTICALLY DOWN! haha. Hazel was scared at first, but she was brave, she went up after much persuasion from ME and SZE LI. haha. Kudos Hazel! She screamed lyk mad for the first time. but that is understandable. She too, tried 4 times, 2 with me, 2 with SL. haha. Den we tried ULAR-LAR. One big float that can allow 6 ppl to sit. we, 4 ppl, sat, and down we go~~~. Hazel, the SCREAMED loudest. We even joked tat we will be the loudest grp tat went doen the ULAR-LAR and the SLIDE UP. haha. Too bad, we didnt hav our cameras with us. haha, or we whud hav capture all the funny moments! haha. It rained twice. luckily it was a short one. I didnt get to try the bicycle thing but, nvm... haha. still got nxt time. haha. nxt time, maybe we go as a bigger grp. haha. FUN AWAITS US! haha. I'm so excited abt the bbq tml. haha, EXCITED! haha, CYA GUYS TML! haha...

HAHA! Suddenly, i miss the times when we were together, as 2a1. Haha, now tat we are in different classes, we seldom interact. The bonds are not as strong. haha. Haha, went wit Hazel, Sheryl (Hazel's sis) and Geraldine to cut hair. [I dint cut!] LOL! We spent 10mins deciding whether to visit the saloon or not. Another 10mins to decide whether who will go first. haha. At last, our brave Hazel went first. The man and woman in the saloon were sarcastic. LOL! After Hazel was Geraldine. Both of them veri fast. Oni JIAN BAO. But Hazel really 'JIAN BAO' Her hair so 'skinny', 'slender' and 'thin' now. haha. Geraldine not much of a difference, haha. Sheryl's new hairstyle ROCKS! From long long hair, till short short hair. haha. She initially wanted to cut lyk mine, spike spike de. But the guy cut another hairstyle for her. haha. She looks nice and sweet in the new hairstyle. Seriously. Den went NP eat delifrance. Why Deli, cuz Hazel got coupons. haha. I didnt eat much, except a few mouthful of ice cream+choc cake. haha. LOL! Den we went to see dogs. Some inconsiderate Chung Cheng High students sit around the shop, making it inaccessible for us, thus we had no choice but to leave the shop. haha. Haha tml going to AMK Hub to get materials needed for tues BBQ. And, i wanna go WWW (Wild Wild Wet) on sunday!!! Haiz, my mum dun allow. I'll continue to pester her. I'LL PERSERVERE! haha. LOL!

WOOHOO! Stressful days and late nights studying ARE FINALLY OVER! But frankly, i really miss those days.
Here are some PROS & CONS:
PROS: Able to go home early after paper ends. ( As early as 8.45am)
Able to call Hazel at night to discuss work. ( Excuses to call and chat. haha JOKN)
Able to go early to sch and play around. ( To be exact, trying to study and memorize notes. haha.)
Able to go library and study. ( It has been ages since i last stepped into a library)
LOL!


CONS: Burning midnight oil, studying and memorizing notes.
Stressful!!!
Have to study hell lots of things in a short period of time!
Worried abt results...

Haha, I re-read the letter Hazel gave me on my birthday. Everytime i read it, i feel so good. And touched. Haha. In her letter, she says, 'u have changed a lot, especially ur "saying the wrong things" habit.' haha. Did i? I still say the wrong things at the wrong time though [abt Elaine]. haha. I love the times when we went out, got HIGH!, many many more. haha. Suddenly, these thoughts jus came to my mind. haha. I MUS BE MAD! haha. Hazel says i am lyk a sister to her, haha, i am her dong seng. haha. [Sister in korean, did i get the spelling correct?]. haha, i feel otherwise. She is lyk a mother to me. haha, UMMA! haha. [Mother in korean]. haha. Whenever, she is sad, i feel sad, whenever she is happy, i am happy too. haha. I guess all mothers and daughters feel the same way. haha JUS JOKN! haha. lol. i noe i'm being lame. haha. pardon me! haha. And, i jus realised something. Hazel gave me a total of 4 presents this yr! SUPER! 1) Tofu Doll[The one in GOONG] 2) The sweets! [So sweet tat i cant bear to eat them!] 3) The letter[It means a lot to me!] 4) erm... The laughter, jokes, funny moments she shared. haha, SHE"S SO TOOT~~~. I sure sound pervertic now. HAHA. I jus meant to say, she is a true fren to me. haha, not tat the others are not! Its jus tat she's special. haha. Coz she's my UMMA! hahahahahahaha! JOKN JOKN JOKN!

Hey guys, it has been a stressful week. haha. Sleeping at 2am, waking up at 6am. haha. tml will be the last day. BIOLOGY PAPER 2. Let's hope it will be easy. [i doubt so]. Those who are saddened by the add-math paper todae, my only advice, cheer up. Be in a good mood so tat u whud be able to memorize and study the biology notes better. A clearer and relaxed brain absorb better. I am sad too, i duno how to do 4/5 ques! I lost 20++ marks lor. haha, i seriously think i am going to fail add-math. but, its over. Rather than brooding over the add-math paper, why not concentrate on the nxt and last paper? haha. And, get ready for nxt tues. 2a1's gathering. haha. mus look forward to it. haha. so, CHEER UP!
